Hi I'm Radhika, the founder of Nom Granola.
Here's my journey of how it all started.

Where it began...

I got bored of granola. Not the idea of it—the reality. Too sweet, too processed, or just not that good.
So I started making my own.
The first version was simple: oats, nuts, honey, and a bit of cinnamon. I wasn’t trying to start anything—I just wanted something I actually looked forward to eating. That became what is now Nom Classic.
Then I started experimenting—different nuts, flavours, and small tweaks to get the right balance of crunch, sweetness, and texture. Some worked, some really didn’t. Over time, a few blends stuck—the ones I kept going back to: Matcha + Nut, Cacao + Orange + Espresso. Those became the foundation of Nom.
What started as something personal quickly became something people kept asking me for. That’s when I realised it might be more than just a habit.

Designing my brand

Design has always been something I’ve enjoyed, so taking on the branding myself felt natural.
From the logo to the labels, every part of Nom was designed by me. I kept things simple—clean typography, thoughtful layouts, and kraft brown packaging that gives each bag an honest, handcrafted feel. Designed to feel calm, considered, and true to what’s inside.
Minimal. Considered. Honest.

Market lauches

From my kitchen in Leicester to local markets - seeing people try Nom for the first time never gets old. The curiosity when they pick up a bag, the reaction when they taste it - that's what makes all those early mornings worth it.

Meeting customers face to face, hearing what they love, which blend is their favourite - it's what keeps me going and pushes me to keep making Nom better.

This is just the beginning.
